
Talkin’ Baseball is a nationally syndicated radio program that airs Sundays from 4:00 to 6:00 ET from spring training through baseball’s post-season on Radio America. http://www.radioamerica.org/PRG_talkinbaseball.htm
The program includes review and expert analysis of all the week’s activity, interviews with important figures in and around the game; Seventh Inning Stretch, which focuses in-depth on stories, personalities and trends in the game; Batting Cleanup, which features debate on ways to improve the national pastime; and humorous segments such as Who’s on First, about wacky and inexplicable occurrences in and around the game.
Host of the program is Tim Donner, award-winning play-by-play broadcaster and talk show host for seven years at WBZ, Boston and in central Massachusetts, and President of Horizons Television, Inc., a media production company based in Great Falls, Virginia.

Co-Host Phil Wood, recognized as one of the game’s leading historians and one of the most knowledgeable baseball media personalities in the nation’s capital, has spent more than 30 years covering sports in the Baltimore-Washington market for both broadcast and print outlets. He is currently a baseball columnist for both the Baltimore and Washington Examiner newspapers, and hosts a Saturday radio show on Baltimore’s ESPN Radio 1300 that is simulcast on MASN -the Mid Atlantic Sports Network. Phil’s background includes assignments on many of the major broadcast outlets in the Mid-Atlantic region: WTOP, WMAL, and WTEM in Washington; WCBM, WYST and WJFK in Baltimore, on XM Satellite Radio and as a guest analyst on CNN during the baseball post-season.

Dear Phil: Please reply and let me know if you own a bat that belonged to Sam West. The same Sam West that should of been in the Hall of Fame for being, one of the best fielders in his day. My wifes cousin.
